About Us

On July 27, 2024, a single rocket missile shattered the lives of 12 children as they played soccer on a local field in Majdal Shams.
These were not just children; they were the bright stars of our community—each with dreams, talents, and a passion for soccer.

We are the parents of the victims, united in our purpose to honor the lives of 12 young souls who were tragically taken from us. Through their memory, we seek to inspire positive change within our community, fostering hope and resilience.

In the depths of our grief, we found a flicker of hope. We realized that while we couldn't bring back our beloved children, we could ensure that their memory became a blessing - a force for good in this world they left too soon. And so, from the ashes of our sorrow, the 12 Stars of Majdal Shams Association was born. We are more than an organization; we are a promise to those we lost. A promise that their dreams will live on, that their light will continue to shine through our actions.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a lasting impact through projects that ensure the lives of these 12 children are never forgotten. We aim to:

Build a memorial museum in Majdal Shams where future generations can learn about the incident and the resilience of our community.

Invest in the development of the local sports division, fostering a strong foundation for youth involvement.

Create educational and awareness programs focused on peace, safety, and the empowerment of children.
Each child was a universe of potential; each smile a light that brightened our world. How do we measure such a loss? How do we carry on when part of our future has been stolen?
